Oftentimes we are frozen by fear or helplessness when we hear the stories of the nation's inner cities. Through Project Transformation, 50 college interns break down some of the barriers and engage in urban mission alongside volunteers from urban and suburban churches. Project Transformation invests in the spiritual development of each intern, opening their eyes to the needs and opportunities for service.

of the most important things that anyone can
learn is that anyone can be a child’s hero.
Whether it is reading one-on-one with a child
for thirty minutes, sitting down at a table and
eating a bowl of cereal in the morning with a
child, or going along with a child’s imagination
and pretending that he’s the president and
you’re the enemy spy, you are spending time with
a child that can make all the difference in the
world.
